Andrew was born in Sheffield, England, in 1955 and came to Australia in 1956. Most of his childhood was spent in Gerringong and he belonged to the Gerringong Methodist Church in his high school days. After his marriage he settled in Shoalhaven Heads and started attending St. Luke's, Berry, and later belonged to St. Stephens, Bomaderry.

In 1989 the family moved back to St. Peter's. His two children are now grown up, but the same cannot be said of Andrew!
Since 1988 Andrew has worked as a Maintenance Fitter with the Shoalhaven City Council and he serves with the local Rural Fire Service. In what spare time he can find he likes to continue the rebuilding of his beloved motor cycle.
