Lyndon was born and raised in Rockdale and baptised in St. David's, Arncliffe, where he and Suzanne were wed in 1965. They had two children, Alissa and Gavin. They built their home in Scott St, moving to Shoalhaven Heads from Gymea Bay on retirement in 1995, and became actively involved in the community. During his working life Lyndon was active in both Apex and Jaycees and was a cub leader in the Scout Movement.

Their very happy lives were shattered in August 2003 when Suzanne died suddenly from a heart attack.

Patricia had been widowed some years earlier when her husband was killed in a car accident. Both families had become life-long friends since Lyndon was appointed to the Bank of NSW in Coonabarrabran. Pat and Lyndon were married at Bowral Anglican Church by our very own Andrew Glover in 2004 after a long distance courtship and with the blessings of their four children.

They enjoy staying at the farm during school holidays and love their tours in Australia and overseas.
